AGW Tours Aruba · Orcuyo 60, Hooiberg
AGW Tours picks you up at your hotel or the cruise terminal and drives you through two hours of Arikok, down to the Natural Pool and on to Baby Beach in an open-sided 4x4. Pick it for the price: $89 with the park fee, water and snacks included is the lowest all-in figure for a guided jeep safari.

AGW Tours is a family business that has been running island tours since 2009, from a base by the Hooiberg hill in the middle of the island. It runs self-drive UTVs and buses as well, but on this tour a guide drives an open-sided 4x4. Pickup is free from hotels and from the cruise terminal, which makes it one of the easier choices on a port day.
The plan is simple. A short loop through Oranjestad, then two hours in Arikok with the caves, 35 minutes at the Natural Pool and 30 minutes at Baby Beach. Some groups do the pool first and the beach last. Park fees, bottled water, snacks and snorkel gear are all in the $89, so the price you see is the price you pay, apart from tips. Compare that with ABC's $99 plus $25.
AGW puts it bluntly in the listing: the tour "travels over rough, bumpy off-road terrain". Guests agree, often in capital letters. Children under 5 are not allowed, lunch is not included, and like every pool tour, the swim depends on the sea. When waves wash over the rim, rangers close Conchi and you watch from the rocks.
Free pickup, or meet at the AGW office at Orcuyo 60 by the Hooiberg.
A short drive through the capital on the way east.
Rough park tracks and cave stops. The park fee is already paid.
Snorkel gear provided. Swimming only when the rangers allow it.
A swim in the shallow lagoon before the drive back.
★★★★★The jeep is a very rough ride for anyone with back or neck problems BUT, the views, the knowledge, the tour guides ,the entire experience made that ride totally worth it!! [...]
★★★★★Even though we were a small group of 3 was great. We enjoyed our guide. Yes the ride was rough, but not a big deal. We did the pool first and Baby Beach was last which was perfect.
★★★★★Absolutely awesome. One of my best experiences with Nigel and Bono. They were very engaging with us. The ride is rough. But the views and the experience makes up for it. [...] Make sure you have no bad back issues.
★★★★★A bit bumpy but we had a good time Never knew Aruba had so much desert-type land. Glad we took the tour.
